Setting up your Frooition template to work with 3rd party listing tools

The Frooition software also allows you to integrate your design with 3rd Party eBay solutions such as InkFrog, eBay Turbo Lister, ChannelAdvisor and many more. These systems use template tags such as {{TITLE}}. This tag is then replaced by the software for each individual title at the point of the listing.



Creating a 3rd Party Listing profile


------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    1. Click eBay tab > Listings sub tab:

    2. Click the Create New button:

   3. Select Tag Based Template from the listing method options,

                Select your listing tool from the dropdown list (If your listing tool is not in the list, select Other),

                Choose the eBay site that you list to from the drop-down list,

                Give your profile a name (such as ChannelAdvisor template),

                Click the Continue button:

    4. On this page, you will need to add any Macro tags that your listings will use. You can also choose the layout of the image gallery.

                (NB If you have any additional macro tags that you wish to use in your template, you can add these into the Item Description area):

    5. Click Get Code:

    6. Click Highlight Text,

                Copy the text (CTRL/CMD + C)

                Paste this into the template section of your 3rd party tool:

  • Once you've got an up to date version of your Template Code you will need to head back over to your listing tool. Each listing tool has different ways of applying a template to your eBay listings, you'll need to be sure to follow the instructions provided by them to the letter. If you have any issues applying the template code you should seek help from your listing tool provider.
