How to create and delete Cross Promotion rules - Cross Selling

The Frooition Cross Promotion feature will allow you to market items that relate to the item being viewed by the eBay end user.

An example of this is when a client is viewing a pair of walking boots, you could set up the Cross Promotion to display thermal socks.

• To get to the Cross Promotions section of the Frooition software you need to click eBay > Cross Promotions:

• You will be directed to this page. This image will show you what area relates to what aspect.
  • To start creating new Cross Promotions click CREATE NEW RULE:

• This is the pop-up that will appear, you will need to select the store category for items you want to promote & the category of the item the buyer will be viewing for these promotions to display.
  • Once you have selected the correct categories you can click ADD RULE:

• Alternatively, you can click the '(or select eBay category)'. This will generate a list (in table form) of standard eBay categories for you to choose from:

• Here you can see the afore mentioned lists. First, select the prime category. Second, select the sub category and repeat until the 'Selected Category ID' box auto-generates.
  • If you know the eBay category ID, you can enter this directly into the 'Select Category ID' field.
    • When you have both of the ID fields filled out, you can click ADD RULE to confirm your selections:

• You'll be able to see all active Cross Promotionsin the large area underneath the CREATE NEW RULE button.
  • You can see if they are eBay store category Cross Promos or eBay std category Cross Promos, as shown in this image:

• To delete any Cross Promotions that you no longer wish to use just follow these simple steps:

1. Click the tick box to the left of the Cross Promotion item you want to remove (you can select as many as you want)
2. A new button will appear named DELETE RULE, click this next
3. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm the delete action, click YES
4. The selected Cross Promotions have been deleted and removed with immediate effect.

If you have followed all of these steps you will be able to control your Cross Selling on eBay, using the Frooition software.
