Understanding the eBay Links Policy

Modified on Wed, 12 Apr 2023 at 01:38 PM

As a certified eBay provider, Frooition follows eBay's rules and guidelines to ensure that your listings comply with all eBay regulations. For seller generated content, such as store name, description or listing descriptions, we recommend users read and adhere to the eBay Links Policy.

Links and phone numbers as part of a Frooition eBay design

eBay DO NOT allow the use of web links, web addresses, phone numbers within listing or store design, breaking eBay's link policy can lead to your account suspension on eBay.

eBay periodically checks stores and listings, and when a violation is found you will be asked to remove any listings that contain a violation. In this case, it is the seller's responsibility and will incur a cost for Frooition to remove this content on the seller's behalf.

eBay's Listings Link Policy

eBay allows sellers to link off to none-eBay sites from listings as long as they provide relevant information about the product for sale and do not allow that item to be purchased from that site. For example, you can link to product information PDF but cannot link to the manufacturer's website if they sell the product directly.
