Specifying a product Identifier in your listing

What product identifiers are supported?

The Frooition Listing tool supports the following product identifiers.

  • Brand
  • MPN - Manufacturer Part Number
  • UPC - Universal Product Code
  • EAN - European Article Number
  • ISBN - International Standard Book Number

The type of product identifier that you will be able to specify is determined by the category that you are listing in. The free Frooition eBay Category Feature Finder can be used to determine which product identifiers are supported in a category. Product Identifiers are entered during Stage 5 of the Frooition Listing Tool. Identifiers marked with an asterisk (*) are required. If an identifier is required and you are unable to provide one you must select the corresponding Does not apply option.

Multi-variation Listings

You can add product identifiers to multi-variation listings provided you are listing in a category that supports them. The Frooition Listing Tool allows values to be specified for each variation. You must enter the same type of product identifier for each variation. You cannot have a listing that is made up of variations that contain a mixture of UPC and EAN for example.
