Frooition have been working closely with eBay to develop a new way to improve our customer's ability to get their products in front of as many potential buyers as possible. This new eBay SEO tool is built into Frooition’s listing software and is available to all our clients.
The SEO tool presents the number of times that a particular item specific field (or term) is used when shoppers search for your listing. This number is accurate and uses data pulled directly from eBay for the past 30 days. This tells you, as a seller, what is the most important information and data you should be entering when listing an item.
An example of this would be when selling an iPhone 12.
When entering item specific details for this listing, the SEO tool shows how many searches each of these fields have had in the last 30 days.
The largest numbers are shown by having a small red rocket next to them, in this case these item specific fields are BRAND, MODEL, NETWORK and STORAGE CAPACITY.
As you can see from filling out just these 4 fields in our listing the circle is closing. Meaning our listing will receive the most possible views given that we have filled in the most vital item specific details. By completing this quick action we can see that 7.8 million searches were made for these item specifics in the last 30 days, that’s a great start!
Remember, you should fill in as many of these item specific fields as possible. Even the smallest detail may help sell your product by returning it in search results you would not have been included in otherwise.
Most of the item specific fields in this category have a drop-down option, it’s recommended that you use this or select from the autofill choices. This is because these options are pulled back directly from eBay via API, so no mistakes will be made this way.
